04 · Common questions

Mattress questions, answered

How often should I replace my mattress?

Most mattresses last 7–10 years depending on quality, use and care. If you wake up with aches, see visible sagging, or your mattress is over 8 years old, it's probably time.

Do I need a box spring?

It depends on the mattress and your bed frame. Many modern mattresses work on platform beds, adjustable bases or slatted frames without a box spring. Check your mattress warranty for base requirements.

What size should I get?

Think about your room size, who shares the bed (partner, kids, pets) and your height. Queen is the most popular for couples, King gives extra space, Full works for single adults in smaller rooms, and Twin or Twin XL are great for kids and teens.
